OANZ Lunch & Learn Webinar Series: Horizon Europe - Investing to Shape Our Future
After a short hiatus for Organic Week, we are back with our monthly Lunch & Learn webinars. For our June session, we've invited Dr John Creech, Principal Advisor at the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment, to present the funding opportunities available for Aotearoa's Organic Sector through Horizon Europe.
Horizon Europe is the EU's key funding programme for research and innovation (worth €95.5 billion through 2021 - 2027), with more than 1.5 million collaborations from more than 150 countries. The EU established the programme to fuel scientific and technological excellence across five mission areas, including soil health & Food, adaptation to climate change, climate-neutral cities, healthy oceans, seas, coastal & inland waters and cancer.
Come and learn about New Zealand's association with Horizon Europe, our domestic implementation, and practical information for New Zealand researchers interested in engaging with the programme.
Horizon Europe is open to all legal entities. This means that individuals, researchers, businesses, institutions, universities, associations, organisations, etc. established in an EU Member State or a country associated with Horizon Europe can participate and receive funding from the programme.
